Synopsis

Mr. Burns explores alternative sources of energy for the people of Springfield by tapping into the geothermal power from a nearby volcano; however, when the new source of fuel proves unstable, the town charter demands that the town offer a human sacrifice to appease the volcano gods and restore order.
